| Communication | Schedule Changes |
Day View is your default landing page. Everything you need for a typical day is visible immediately—no drilling into submenus.
A vertical timeline from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Each scheduled inspection appears as a block on the timeline. Navigate dates with < Today > arrow controls at the top.
| Element | Display | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Time | 9:00 AM | Bold monospace, top-left of block |
| Tech name | Darius McKindra | Assigned field inspector |
| Address | 1234 Main St, Baltimore | Site location |
| Division tags | UND ANC | Scope of work divisions |
| Customer number | C-892451 | Client reference |
| Status badge | SCHEDULED | Current pipeline position |
| Left stripe | 3px color bar | Branch identification |
Click any inspection block to expand it. The expanded view shows: project ID, notes from intake, and historical context—whether this is a repeat address, how many past invoices are on file, and which archive files exist.
The + New Visit button opens an inline form at the top of the Day View. Three fields:
| Field | Input |
|---|---|
| Project ID | Search by address, permit number, or customer number |
| Time | Date and time picker (defaults to selected day) |
| Tech | Inspector assignment dropdown |
Saving the visit creates a site visit record in the system. The new block appears on the timeline without a page refresh.
Right panel on the Day View. Incoming project submissions arrive here from client intake portals. Each request shows an age badge indicating how long it has been waiting:
| Age | Indicator | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
| < 3 days | Neutral (gray) | Within expected window |
| 3–7 days | Amber | Needs attention soon |
| > 7 days | Red | Requires immediate action |
Expand any request to see enrichment data: jurisdiction, assigned certifier, required forms, guardrail indicators, and estimated timeline. The system auto-enriches every submission on arrival using geocoding, jurisdiction lookup, and certifier routing.
The Schedule button opens a date and time picker. Approving a request creates the project and assigns the visit in a single action.
Right panel, second tab. Schedule change requests show the original date alongside the requested date with a stated reason. Each request includes the project address and customer reference for quick identification.
| Display | Example |
|---|---|
| Original | March 24, 9:00 AM |
| Requested | March 28, 10:30 AM |
| Reason | Homeowner unavailable, rescheduled with foreman |
Two actions are available: Approve updates the visit record. Decline returns the request with an optional note. Both actions notify the requesting party.
When the system detects a missing document or incomplete inspection on a project you’re responsible for, an RFI is created and assigned to you. You’ll see the count in the project detail RFI badges.
Each RFI has a Resolve button. Clicking it opens the appropriate interface for the RFI type:
Full month view, accessible from the sidebar. The right sidebar is hidden on the calendar page to maximize the calendar area. Each event cell shows pipeline status as a tinted background color and a 3px branch-colored stripe on the left edge. The inspection time appears in a red accent font for quick scanning. Projects with open RFIs display a small red dot on the event.
| Visual | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Gray background | Scheduled |
| Teal background | Ready for cert |
| Gold background | Needs invoice |
| Green background | Complete |
Click any event to open the inspection detail panel with full project information, pipeline indicator, and action buttons. PDF and file links open in popup windows rather than navigating away.
Reference project table for lookup and context. Each row shows a compact pipeline indicator (dots showing current stage), sub-track status for cert and invoice, and any active flags (RFI, on hold, permit status). Click any row to expand it inline with a 4-column Project Info grid. PDF and file links open in popup windows.
The projects table is searchable by address, permit number, and customer number. Use this page when you need to look up a project that is not on today's schedule.
